A much improved performance saw Cwm record an impressive away win to seal their first double of the current season.
With several players returning from injury an opening penalty from Craig Jones after several facets of play was the least the away side deserved after a fluid five minutes. Three minutes later after impressive play Alex Wilkins in his finest game to date for the club crossed for a converted score. Wave after wave of attack failed to yield a score until half way through the half when Anthony Rees scooted over in the corner for a try which Craig Jones converted beautifully from the touchline. On the break a nice threequarter move saw Bowdy Davies put the afterburners on to score another converted try to give the visitors a comfortable 24-0 at the interval.
The second period saw Foel foil the attacking threat of the Cwm backs and indeed scored a breakaway try on the hour unti the Blue and Blacks reasserted their authority with a determined effort from flanker Daniel Jones to confirm a 5 point bonus point win. This was again converted by Craig Jones who also added the points to Bowdy Davies last minute effort to secure a good all round team result.
