CWMLLYNFELL RFC

Cwm v Ponytberem - 16th October

CWM GO SECOND AT THE BRYN

A blistering hat trick wing Tristan Lewis set Cwmllynfell on thier way aginst basement boys Pontyberem and by half time the home team looked home and dry
Cwm raced out of the blocks and were up 12 -0 nil up after 5 minutes as Peter Thomas crossed way out for a fine try and then Lewis scored his first
With Thomas injured in when scoring his try Nic Diajanovic took over kicking duties and soon Cwm were well ahead by half time
It was however to easy for the Blues who then took the pedal off the gas and allowed a determined Bont side back into the game -

Pontyberem gained in confidence and started to have other ideas and chipped away at the Cwm lead with a series of penalties to end within 7 points and claim a well deserved bonus point with Cwm also taking a bonus point win

Cwm looked good in attack but a tendancy to run evrything and not play for field position was worrying for the Bryn faith ful but against the bottom of the table they got way with it !!

As a result Cwm moved up to second in the table with an Amman Valley one -two at the top as Amanford had a fine win against Tondu

Final Score Cwmllynfell 34 Pontyberem 27
