This top of the table encounter promised much and lived up to its billing in this 7 try thriller at Bryn Park.
It was the away side who started strongly but failed to capitalise on early pressure until the 20th minute with a penalty from fly half R Clarke. Cwm's own pivot Craig Jones reciprocated shortly after with a similar effort before some magic from Sam Hughes saw the young centre cross for an unconverted try to see the home side lead 8-3 at the interval.
It was all Cwmllynfell at the start of the second period and tries from Alex Wilkins, Owen Williams and Tristian Manning two of which were converted by Jones saw the home side seal the bonus point with 15 minutes remaining.
With the win secure and several substitutions made the home side relaxed and left the Mules back into the match with three late tries by Maund , Tossell and Briggs all converted by Clark to obtain a losing bonus point.
With Glynneath's demise at Skewen it means that there are no unbeaten sides left in the division and Cwm head off to the seaside of Kidwelly next week with renewed confidence ,with the Black and Ambers no doubt licking their wounds after a 53 -10 mauling by the Bulls of Builth in a day of some shocks in divison 2 W
