A match which saw Cwm gain a valuable win on the road could have been more comfortable had first half chances been converted into points. Several try opportunities were spurned as well as a hatful of penalties and the visitors only led 3-0 at the interval through an Alun Sterle penalty.
Aberystwyth started the second period strongly and crossed for a converted try after 10 minutes. This spurred Cwm forward and a break from replacement scrum half Owen Williams put the evergreen Jim Morgan over for an unconverted score to regain the lead. This was extended with 10 minutes to go by a monstrous penalty from wing Owen James before a try from Anthony Rees, who had given a sublime display at full back all afternoon, sealed the win.
A satisfactory 4 points but half term report reads " Could have been better"
